Please enjoy your day of learning at the coaching conference, visit our sponsors and snacks in the breakroom, and select the sessions that will fill your professional bucket.
We will use your registration schedule and completed surveys after each session to track your attendance and award your professional learning credits. Thanks in advance for completing the feedback forms for each session you attend.
In this introductory session, instructional coaches will learn how to effectively utilize our assessment and analytics platforms to support student success. We will take a deep dive into the Baseball Card and Scoreboard reports in myProgress, focusing on how to use various assessment data to identify student needs and tailor support strategies. We will review the different assessment data platforms available, discussing the unique features and data each provides, and when to use them. Emphasis will be placed on strengthening data literacy around assessment data, ensuring participants are confident in analyzing and applying data to make informed, data-driven decisions. By the end of this session, participants will be equipped with the knowledge and skills to support the enhancement of instructional practices and student outcomes.
This session will focus on "coaching beyond the student list" using a structured problem-solving approach to make Tier 1 and Tier 2 decisions. We will emphasize Step 4 of the problem-solving process: assessing whether our actions are effective and how we can measure that. The session will also highlight key tools and resources that you can take back to your school for immediate use in decision-making. All areas of focus will connect back to the School Improvement Plan (SIP) priorities.
