Welcome to Pasco’s 10th Anniversary Instructional Coaching Conference. We are offering our 20th conference over the last decade and am thankful that you have attended, presented and chose to be a part of our mission to grow and develop outstanding Instructional Coaches.
We want to train and retain our newest staff while working with all staff to improve content and curricular implementation that ensures high rates of student growth and proficiency. This year we have doubled down on coaching around content and aiming our supports at moving student outcomes. Focus Analytics is an inspiring platform that empowers data-driven decision-making through targeted reports, enhancing teaching and learning. We will explore this platform and highlight essential reports that coaches can utilize to provide strategic support, refine instructional practices, and significantly improve student outcomes. By harnessing these insights, coaching efforts can become more purposeful and aligned with the vision of school improvement.
This session will focus on "coaching beyond the student list" using a structured problem-solving approach to make Tier 1 and Tier 2 decisions. We will emphasize Step 4 of the problem-solving process: assessing whether our actions are effective and how we can measure that. The session will also highlight key tools and resources that you can take back to your school for immediate use in decision-making. All areas of focus will connect back to the School Improvement Plan (SIP) priorities.

Creating a culture of coaching by developing a shared understanding of expectations for high-quality instruction. Identify, define and prioritize look-fors, establish criteria for tiers of support, and use evidence to monitor implementation and impact of coaching. This session provides coaches with awesome examples of real world artifacts and systems in a turn around school.
This session will explore strategies for monitoring the effectiveness of Tier 3 interventions using Star CBM. Coaches will learn how to set meaningful goals based on data and determine students' responses to interventions. By leveraging Star CBM, educators can ensure targeted support and improved student outcomes.
This session will focus on how coaches can build the capacity of all teachers in their buildings through the lens of the 3 Teams. We will make connections to key resources, data literacy, and andragogy.

This session is a follow up from the September session titled Coaching to Build Capacity. We will help answer the following question: How can you adjust your coaching strategies in response to the data? We will provide strategies you can use with teacher teams to respond to the data in a meaningful, systematic way.
